Richard Hammond has landed his own show, prime time, on Saturday nights next year, and it looks like it’s going to be pretty mental. It’s called Total Wipeout and is based on the US show Wipeout which first aired in June:
Anyway, they’re filming eight, hour long episodes on the BBC’s newly built assault course in Argentina, and are hoping for a new year launch.
Richard’s in the office today so we’ll try and grab a few words with him later if he gets a spare minute from preparing for tomorrow’s Top Gear studio filming.
All you have to do to be in with a chance of appearing on Richard’s show – which would mean getting flown to Argentina – is to go here.

Top Gear is the best thing ever in the world and iff Richard goes it wont be the same. Maybe the stig should be new prenster. Well done for a great first show for the new series. Oh and well done Lewis for winning the world title, i was on the edge of my seat and i cried at the end of it

Its not all im interested in, i love Top Gear not just Richard, i would watch Top Gear even if Richard wasnt on it (no-offence) i just love the humor, the cars, the challenges everything about the show is great, so no its not just the fact Richards on it i would watch it anyways.

The Show looks good i do see a bit of brainiac in there, The show looks similar to Ninja warrior currently on ‘challenge’ and the kids games shows from the 80’s.
It’ll be good if the safety and finance guys don’t turn it into something resembling the rubbish gladiators re-make, If hammond is filming this does that mean there’s a spot for a new Top Gear presenter? If so, i officially want the job….
