Clarkson, Hammond and The Stig have pretty much just arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa and are currently busying themselves with preparations for the kick-off of their world Top Gear Live tour tomorrow.
They will be at the Coca-Cola Dome for four days – from Jan 29th to Feb 1st – breaking out all of the antics that made the show such a UK success. And they’ve got a busier schedule than most rock bands.
Tomorrow sees them having a relatively easy time of it with just one gala event, then they do two on Friday, four (!) on Saturday and three on the Sunday.
That’s more time on stage than the Rolling Stones pull in four days.
So if you’re heading down for any of the shows over the coming days, then come back here after and let us know what you thought. The Mole sure the boys would be pleased to hear from you.
After Jo’burg, they head out to Sydney, Auckland and then Hong Kong, so the Mole will keep you updated throughout.
But remember, what goes on tour stays on tour. Unless the Mole can find out otherwise.
There’s a few tickets left so get in there quick.

What do you think?

Went to the show yesterday at the dome in Joburg and must say that it was even better than last year. Loved the fact that you guys now go up into the crowds and get the crowds involvement. Excellent show and I hope we will see you again next year.

Hi all
I was at the Saturday show at the dome in JHB and it rocked. It was way better than last years show and last year was pretty cool too. I loved all the interactive stuff. I also love the fact that RH, JC and even our own Sasha Martinengo could actually drive. It was impressive.
Long Live Top Gear. May the BBC never cut your budget or airtime.

I went to their show at the Dome in JHB on the Sunday, Took my Dad. It was awesome!!!!! They are just the best!
Must say was a little sad that James May couldn’t be there, the show really needs all three of them. But even so,was a highly enjoyable evening, loved the way the audience got involved.
Definately something to keep on your calendar.

Saw the show on Feb 1st. My daughter and I thought it was absolutely brilliant, but it’s a pity James wasn’t there. I hope we really are going to see a new series – even something as great as Top Gear palls a bit after the 4th time of viewing!
