Official Friends of Top Gear, Anthony Reid and Tom Chilton – both Touring Car drivers by day – make an appearance in this low-budget, car-tastic music video made by Owen Trevor – who also directs stuff on the telly show – for singer-songwriter Andy J Gallagher:
You’ll remember Reid and Chilton from previous TG classics such as motorhome racing and bus racing.
Both drivers will feature again in the new series, as Jeremy and Co. once more solve a knotty problem through the crucible of motorsport.
This track by Gallagher, Faster and Faster, is taken from the forthcoming album Helicopter Dolphin Submarine.
The Mole isn’t sure that it would be quite up Clarkson’s prog rock strasse though… but we’re sure he’d appreciate the Scimitar.

Ahh, the Scimitar – that takes me back! I learned to drive in my Dad’s purple Scimitar GTE – on the condition I didn’t tell my mum (apparently she felt it was “a bit fast”)…
One to watch with the sound off!
