Yet again, I find myself questioning WHY I am American. While the UK gets to see Top Gear in action starting in June, I have to sit around through the misery of winter, waiting for a new episode get funding, purchase a ship, recruit some worthy sailors, gather rations, load their muskets, and eventually cross the Atlantic to colonize my television. Sometimes, I just want to sit on my sofa and eat my sorrows away…but then Top Gear arrives, and all is forgotten…

This series is going to be the best ever series of TG! This new classic car rally challenge thing is going to be full of the usual TG stuff: Jeremy shouting ‘Powerrrrrrrr!’ Richard keeping his car, falling in love with it and naming it, and James being as slow as possible, which is easy for him.

I’m not bitter. In fact, I am in a most jovial mood as I contact my attorneys.
