If you hot-foot it over to the BBC iPlayer, you’ll be able to listen to James May talking to Richard Bacon about the Lego house he’s building tomorrow.
Skip ahead to 1:29.00 (unless you want to listen to James talking to an actress from Corrie) where he explains, at length, about the project ahead of him.
He’s turning up at Denbies wine estate in Surrey tomorrow with 2.8 million Lego bricks, and will begin the build.
But he will need some help to assemble all the bricks, so if you fancy lending a hand he’s said you need to be there any time after 10am.
“It will be an extremely modern Lego house, and is going to look fantastic,” he said.
“I’m going to live in it for a weekend, but we don’t know if it’s waterproof. We don’t know if any of this will work.”
During Bacon’s show, James also manages to find time to mention Hammond’s barnet: “It’s maybe a little bit styled. I’d like to apologise for Hammond’s hair.”
James is building the house as part of BBC Two’s James May’s Toy Stories, set to be broadcast later in the year.
