You guys are the best thing on telly, you appeal to all ages and all types, nearly xD thats why your show is such a success, packed with great comedy, entertainment, even education! absolutely fantastic show, something for everyone, they make the cars fun by the challenges they do.

Noggin and Lisea, please, you’re both right as far as i’m concerned in the sense that Jeremy was relating to the speed restrictions, ecological situation (carbone reductions etc)and the industrial survival of companies such as AM due to lots of reasons such as these.
JC/TG wanted to attract attention them and make us reflect on it all. In addition the whole team aspire to fantastic filming/realisation in a majestic/artistic manner which definetly enhanced the drama, don’t the boys take everything with a handfull of salt anyway?!

Never forget, before a war plans are made but become almost useless during the battle due to the unpredictability of the outcome at every instant.
In the same way giants of the Industrial world have fallen and disappeared within days for less reasons that AM could encounter in the near or so futur.

Just watched Sunday night’s TG, I hope it’s not ‘jumped the shark’ but hate to say it was really missable. I think It’s getting too contrived and in danger of becoming a parody of itself. It’s basically last of the summer wine with cars.

All the conversations look as though they’ve gone through script meetings. “…and then I’ll spontaneously say this, then you say that, that’ll be funny !” but unfortunately it’s not, or at least I didn’t think so. Perhaps at 40, I’m now the wrong demographic for the show.

Dropping a piano on a Morris Marina wasn’t much funnier the third time. I’ll leave the door open then you hit it…. Excellent TV ha ha ha ?

They should have ended it last season on a high or changed the format again. It’s not a 5th gear style car show anymore, which is fine and was the right decision, but if it’s an entertainment show it needs to be entertaining, not just going through the motions. The Reliant Space shuttle and the US road trip were probably my favourites in recent times.

I don’t think the re-runs on Dave are helping to keep it fresh.

If they have run out of money or don’t really have enough material to fill a show, it would be better to wait until they do or end it on a high rather than running the format into the ground.

The team have been brilliant up till now, but unfortunately I think they’re victims of their own success and have just exhausted all ideas. They probably need to have fewer shows of an excellent standard than more shows that are very mediocre.

I can’t put my finger on what the show needs, I think it’s just probably run its course.

Perhaps I’m being unfair, I’ll see how the rest of the series pans out.

It was rather interesting for me to read this blog. Thanks for it. I like such topics and anything that is connected to this matter. I would like to read more soon.
