Last week we told you about Hammond wanting Angelina Jolie as the female presenter on the show, and this week Holby City nurse Tina Hobley has said she wants it.
Or at least, that’s what the Daily Star is saying, but we can’t work out if the quotes are actually from Hobley City herself or not.
“One of the guys would have to step aside,” she apparently said. “ It’d have to be Richard Hammond. The Hamster has to go.”
Hammond seems the obvious choice for her because, as she’s written in her Radio Times blog, she, er, fancies Clarkson.
“Jeremy is the main draw: clever, witty, and – in my opinion – rather attractive. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times and he’s even lovelier in real life.”
So, do you think she’d make the grade? Should Hammond step aside for her?
Keep in mind that she drives a Porsche Carrera when you’re weighing all this up…

The show only works cos Jezza, Hamster and Captain Slow bounce jokes off each other all show long. If you took away Hamster there would be no teeth, height jokes!!!
I say keep the three guys and have the holby girl do the occasional thing like a celebrity presenter…and then they could have people like Jay Kay and Lewis Hamilton do skits as well…god i’m a genius

Keeping Hammond is a must! you get a women on the show and what are we looking at oh god no another fifth gear haha and thats the worst programme on tv!!! I’d step over my dead mother to watch topgear but id also step over my dead mother to turn fifth gear off!!

The Hamster’s so cute! I definately know that if he leaves…the show will tank! It’s a man’s show, not a “politically correct” show! Keep Hammond BBC! We want 3 men telling us about cars and how to drive!

Don’t be “politically correct” BBC! You’ll tank the show. Jeremy, Richard, and James (I guess) are so cute! Taking Richard out and putting a woman in the show would be the equivalent of taking Richard out and replacing him with Gordon Brown….yuck! What are you thinking?! We American women will not watch the show anymore, we love British guys! Remember, Hugh Laurie is making it big time over here with the show “House”…I like fast cars though…not Docs….ha….ha…ha……

aye, take out hammond and most of the viewers will stop watching or worse, watch fifth gear
besides, i can’t imagine a woman standing up to the top gear challenges. someone picture that woman riding a veyron racing an airliner or a concorde, after she gets it past 75 mph she’ll cry, wet herself, and try to bail out from the race at the same time

HAMSTER in topgear is an endangered species, lets fight to preserve him…and get rid of that nurse who is trying to kill the hamster…and a girl in topgear would ruin it forever unless its cienna miller cos her comments when she came were not far from what our 3 heroes normally say…
