At the launch of this year’s Top Gear Live, producer Rowland French introduced a big competition in which you could win free tickets to the live show by sending in your best challenges for the Top Gear presenters.
With Top Gear Live kicking off in London next week, the winners of the competition have been announced, and they’re… well, they’re all revealed in Rowland’s video, which you can watch at the bottom of this blog post.
If you’ve bagged free tickets, congratulations: if not, you’d better get a shuffle on if you want to watch the greatest live show since, er, the Antiques Roadshow hit Basingstoke.
We’ve just been chatting to the ticket people at Top Gear Live, and it would appear that tickets are shifting like the proverbial warm pastries: around half the shows in London and Birmingham shows are already sold out.

This isn’t about the live show.
This is a complaint to Clarkson & the BBC.
You mongrels!! You have betrayed TGA viewers in Australia by selling the rights to the show to a commercial network. As if it wasn’t bad enough that SBS, (the channel that it was on), edited the buggery out of the show to fit it into a 1hr time slot & we missed out on things like the Cool Wall, The News & The Stigs laps. Now it has been sold to Channel 9. This is a station that is notorious for getting a good show & filling it with ads. Changing the screening times without notice & then cancelling a show when they don’t get the ratings. We will end up with a mere 40minutes of the show that you record by the time the ads have all been done & we will miss out on even more of the good stuff. This is also a station that is targeted at pensioners & older people that have no interest in cars at all, so the show is going to rate badly from the word go.
I suggest you take a good look at the TGA website & look under the Transmission blog at the “TG moving to a new home” posts. There you will find hundreds of diheartened fans of the show that you have betrayed by being greedy.
Do something about it. As most of us will now go to viewing the show on the web if we bother at all.
BBC & Clarkson, you suck.

I went last year (got tickets this year too!) And I remember being in the VIP area, sat down eating my meal, thinking “You know you’re having a good day when you’re eating a free two-course meal with free drinks, with a gorgeous Aston Martin parked at your table”.

I went to the one in London last year, tbh i’ve never seen somany nice cars under one roof in the UK. And as an added bonus i arrived just as Clakson rocked up in his CLK-black which was nice

I am a massive fan of the show and I cannot wait to see the presenters up close and personal.
After seeing Conmans comment, comment no.19, I have started a Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/ group.php?gid=32937225502 5&ref=nf) to try and save TG from channel nine and keep it on SBS. Please, whether you are an Aussie or not join my group out of a mutual appreciation of this fantastic show, because us Aussies are already missing out on main parts of the show, like the cool wall and the news, etc, and if TG goes to channel 9 we will be missing out on many more classic moments and segments. For those of you who join I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
