The rest of the series…

That, then, was programme four. And that means we’re more than halfway through the current series. Boo and indeed hiss.

As we know from the comments that appear below these blogs, all of you lovely people out there on the webernet are more than capable of telling us what you did and didn’t like about each show – and we really do appreciate that feedback – so rather than going over what you’ve just seen, let’s look forward to what you can expect when Top Gear returns from next week’s enforced break.

We’ve got Jeremy, Richard and James taking over an art gallery, we’ve got the Lexus LF-A, we’ve got Jeremy’s cost-effective test of the BMW X6 and we’ve got possibly the most epic and amazing special Top Gear has ever made as the boys attempt to get from the heart of the Bolivia rain forest to the coastline of Chile in three 4x4s they bought from the local version of Auto Trader. Trust us, that one will really be worth a watch.

In the meantime, please do let us know what you thought of tonight’s show…

What do you think?

To criticise TG is harsh, its like booing Usain Bolt for coming 1st in the 100m & 200m just because he didn’t smash his own world records again!
Its still a great show cant wait for the Bolivia special!

Hey Top gear crew,I am watching your show now for 1 and a half years. Firstly its pretty awesome. But the only thing is why u nearly always have to criticise the german cars, eg. me i was driving the new 7 series and X5 bmw , and i thought they are lovely cars to travel around, very confortable and smooth driving. And coming back to the X5 the Autobild famous german car testing magazine , voted the new X5 as one of the best current Suv for long drives, and normal roads.
Keep up the good show
PS| The big Q7 and x5 are made for the autobahn, we dont need a race track to go fast ^^

To “Toes of Toads” the show is crap! what is the point of racing on an Airport for? whats the point building an electric cars? I tune in to see the latest cars not JC JM and RH spending our money on the biggest load of old crap I have EVER seen! Where is all the latest CAR news it’s supposed to be about CARS not 3 people having a laugh at our expense. Cars please CARS, CARS, like the MP4, I458Itali Aston Martin Rapide, new 2010 911 Turbo, Aston Martin One 77, 2010 Series II GTR, the new Jaguar XJ this show wouldn’t know anything about cars these days just how to piss around having some fun and reviewing the same old tired crappy BMW’s, AUDI’s, MERC’s EVERY DAMN SERIES. HOW about more British cars, NEVER have I seen a Westfield you know why? because TG has lost it’s way!

i have to agree with moste of the comments here. first, i don’t under stand why TG started putting two cars on their track, i mean why?
second, TG are still focusing on cars that the average man can’t get; i light of the economic depression, don’t you think you should focus on a more affordable cars (and i don’t mean a Hyundai) with good quality.
third, sometimes i feel the TG guys are treating the viewrs like FOOLS, and that we don’t understand anything about cars.
fourth, recently their challanges are getting more and more stupid and redecuilis.

finally, if this keeps up i would have to stop watching TG and star watching Fifth Gear.

i thought the twingo test was far too similar to the feista one in the other series. more proper supercar tests and less stupid tests of cars that we could read in any magazine if we wanted (TWINGO).ross kemp in the boot was funny though.

the only good thing in this episode was ross kemp in the boot. apart from that the recent series have gone from bad to worse. now its just an ‘entertainment’ show, not the ‘car’ show that we love with proper news and supercar reviews. also i agree with other reviews saying that we are treated like fools now. this is a car show not an entertainment show for people with no interest in cars. more of the old top gear please!!

What a waste of a show the electric car episode was.I thought I was watching an episode of Last of the Summer Wine. Compo,Foggy and Cleg build an electric car, Compo has to sit in the middle on a plastic garden chair and at the end it rolls away down the hill…..oh hang on it’s Top Gear
