Aston Martin v12 Vantage. Captured the spirit of one of the world’s best looking cars.

I loved the V12 Vantage at the end of the last series, extremely well done. But I also found the electric car hilarious, so I’m split.

Still we have got this Sunday in South America, that hopefully has got a few legendary moments.

Got to be the Aston that closed Series 13. Beautiful moment.

I loved the Lancia history lesson. Such pure, enthusiastic car nerdery is contagious, even to a not-quite-petrolhead like me.

Best 2009 TG Moment

The day Andy Wilman made a rather diplomatic and honest blog on the website addressing the concerns of the programme’s detractors and effectively admitting that Top Gear’s quality has diminshed rapidly in recent times. One wishes the best for the show and hopes that they take a sabbatical as a means of attempting to remember what made previous series so good and this one so terrible.

Best Film of Series 14

The Lancia film.

Don’t listen to those overly critical critics! The boys may be less innocent but they’re still the boys. If the production team kept them in the dark to flounder about, the dawning Bolivia epic will be ace!

Best moments:

#1 The Train Race
#2 Road Rally (would have made a great special)
#3 The Stig Stratos lap

Oh yeah, P.S! Keep these votes rolling in – I reckon they will come into play if the show decides to do the usual ‘award pastiche’ at the end of the year.

But the Aston series 13 ‘ending’ and the Lancia film of a few weeks ago were good too.

Definitely the Lancia film, closely followed by the Aston-ending.

Aston ending, electric car, race to the North…there have been quite a few brilliant moments. Can’t wait to see the Bolivia Special, and I hope it makes it into the top moments of TG this year.

I just saw the “Polar “Express” Special” on BBCA! It was COOL to say the least…funny stuff! Loved the ‘Yota Hilux! I have a Tacoma which is a “coma” compared to the Hilux! What is the series number of the show? Don’t know, but maybe the BBCA is starting to show the “new” shows which are old reruns to you…..lolol! More please! Keep them coming!

Only thing I can think of that was in 2009 that really resonated with me was the V12 Vantage from the end of season 13 with honourable mention going to the train/car/bike race.

can’t decide between the veyron/f1 race and the supercar test in romania. of course might be a completely different answer after the bolivia special show. can’t what…….especially to see richard getting irritated by an insect in his car lol. still the best show on tv
