If you happened to wander over to Channel 4 after the boys finished their adventures in Bolivia last night you might have noticed Top Gear picked up a little pat on the back – the best TV show of the, er, Noughties (noughts, surely?).
Quite amazing, really. Three blokes cocking about in cars the best telly show of the decade. As Jeremy said, where were the votes for Big Brother?
Turns out the best song of the decade was ‘Chasing Cars’ by Snow Patrol, so maybe there was a car consipiracy going on. Who knows.
So… was it the right choice? Did we really deserve to win it? And if not, who? Over to you…

I have grown up watching this amazing show. it has cultivated my love of cars such that i am starting my own car show in my native country. there is no doubt that this is the best show of the noughties, probably even of all time… i just wana say thank u Boyz.

This show couldnt have been picked for a better time. I just bought an 88 Suzuki Samurai and it should bee here within the next month. Offroading should be fun with the 4 wheel drive. Unlike James Samurai. Long live James!!

I watch re runs for fun, the missus hates me for it but SHE still loves TG.
If the BBC stop making it, I will move to the moon!

i watch and love (almost) all episodes of Top Gear (of course the ones w/o James May are not Top Gear), i hate cars, I live in the tropical archipelago, Indonesia, however i love good laugh and great programmes … enough said
p.s. The Trio should come here someday and taste the traffic madness here, Vietnam got nothing compared to us

Always loved topgear – it first got me involved in cars when i was flicking through the channels and i stoped on BBC2 for a couple of mins – i was hocked since then and now i am even working on cars!
A very well deserved win – well done to the top gear presenters – and everone behind the scences! Hope to see you on T.V. for many years to come!
