Clarkson: on telly lots this week

Struggling to cope without a dose of brand new Clarkson in your life? Before you book yourself in for a course of intensive correctional therapy, make sure you check out Have I Got News For You: 9pm, Thursday 22 April on BBC1.

The popular satirical news quiz is this week hosted by our very own JC, and will see regular teams captains Paul Merton and Ian Hislop joined by some other intelligent and witty coves to discuss matters both topical and political.

Not enough Clarkson for you? Then tune in (unless you possess one of these new-fangled digital tellyboxes that doesn’t require daily tuning) to Friday Night with Jonathan Ross on, er, Friday at 10.50pm on BBC1. JC will be chatting about… actually, we have no idea what he’ll be chatting about.

So that’s Have I Got News For You, tonight (Thursday) at 9pm, and Friday Night With Jonathan Ross tomorrow at 10.50pm, both on BBC1.

Unless it’s Friday and we’ve forgotten to update this blog. In which case, that’s Monday at 10pm on BBC2 and Sunday at 12.45am on BBC1 for the respective repeats. They’ll probably be on that iPlaying chap, too.

UPDATE: You can watch Jeremy on Have I Got News For You here (UK only)

What do you think?

Will JC be Jonathan’s only guest actually in the studio this week? his others i thik are all hollywood types wh couldn’t be bothered to fly just because of some volcanic eruption and so will appear via satelite link-up. r so i’ve heard (well, read, but same difference)

Oh the shame of self advertsing :) ha ha
Wasnt JC on johnathon ross not so long ago?

He’s the go-to person when everyone else is busy or trapped by volcanic ash. I’d say he’s going to repeat verbatim his Times column of getting stuck somewhere in Poland.

Contact the Oxford English Dictionary: The term “lots” has been redefined as “two”.

I’m only joking. Can’t get enough JC in our lives!

Good, Jezza for P.M.

A little dissapointed since Robert Downey Jr. was supposed to appear on Jonathan’s the same show, now he will not apparently, but then yeih! more HC on telly!

Saw Have I Got News for You yesterday, it was really funny.

Will definitely watch Jonathan’s show today!

There can never be too much JC on TV ever. May I also take this opportunity to congratulate him on the honour of being third in the Mirror’s top ten of men that women would like to sleep with but shouldn’t really. Oh and Hammond on coming fourth in the same survey – no mention of May though (he’d be top of my list)

Well done boys, can’t wait for the new series…

the 1st time I saw this it simply said he was on it. it didn’t say when. so, i’ve missed it then?
great

@ Lily

Third? THIRD?! Clearly The Mirror are still rubbish. Clarkson would be 1st in the real world! Especially after the recent other survey about the large package he is sporting ;o)

The more Dr Dr C on my TV, the better. I don’t even complain about the TV licence when JC season is upon us!

#14 and #16, I completely agree, the more Jeremy we have the better! :o )

Actually saw Jezza on Jonathan Ross Friday. BBCA slipped and gave us an up to date program. Brilliant, as always, but Clarkson, stop being upset about being 50. 50 (and over) has it’s percs. For one thing, no one expects you to censor what you say anymore. And while your body may start to play tricks on you, your mind, now devoid of all the clutter of trying to “make it” by 50 now can concentrate on one of the best past times ever (besides driving supercars): confusing people under 30, which is surprisingly easy to do.

In short, at 50, the limiters come off. And if anyone can have fun with that, it’s you.

And apparently, judging by the Mirror’s survey, it hasn’t affected your appeal….;)
