First Top Gear US trailer released

You will remember that we announced a new US version of your favourite show earlier this year. Well, here’s some more news: the first glimpse of America’s very own Top Gear has been released.

And here it is:

We’ve been chatting to the three presenters in the past few weeks – Adam Ferrara, Tanner Foust and Rutledge Wood – so we’ll bring you more news as we get it. In the meantime, if you’ve got any questions fire them into the handy space below and we’ll do our best to get them answered.

What do you think?

Terrible! Like someone else said-too redneck, no chemistry…complete rubbish!

Clarkson Crew please help these three idiots! No comparison, TOPGEAR UK is by far the BEST “gear-head” show to date!

Can’t work in politically correct, easily offended US… If only we could let Adam go nuts.

OK, just tried the video… throw in litigious to my last post.

The ONLY reason to watch this hodgepodge of absolute horse stool is to see the cars. That is when they actually have something decent to look at. Just mute those lame nuggets and daydream of the TRUE Top Gear (UK).

Gee whiz Beaver. I guess nobody likes the red, white and blue version. Well nooooo s—t. What did you expect from those computer fed, dim brained, know it alls from the network. They probubly all drive a Prius for Christ’s sake. Sheeeesh.

I think that wood is an expert on the car through a complete idiot. How can an “expert” over car not be able to drive, in one episode he even got sick of riding in the car. This is probably the worst car an expert in the U.S.. Give him a pencil, sit him at the table and it will never let go of the steering wheel.

I would rather watch a Jersey Shore TV marathon than one episode of TG USA.

I love the usa version i dont understand all the complaints. Tanner, Adam and Rutledge are extremely funny and entertaining. There antics lleave me wanting more and I cant wait till the next episode. Thanks guys you have made the show worth watching. Keep up the outstanding work!!!!

People don’t understand that you can’t instantly make chemistry between the hosts.

Before you post any more slander about TG:USA, I challenge you: search online and find the original few seasons of TopGear UK, then come back and tell me that considering the time the USA-variant has been on television that it’s not an excellent broadcast.

Unfortunately the US version is just a poor program – a flawed imitation of the real thing. Uninteresting content and hosts who are equally uninspiring. I watched a few episodes and then gave up when it became obvious it was just junk. We still make a few good things in America but this show is not one of them. I vote that we have the UK hosts come to America 6 months out of the year to film the US version and then 6 months back in the UK to film the original version. I could watch Jeremy and the gang 12 months out of the year!

TG USA is beyond tedious. that lesbian in plaid is the worst casting EVER! stop the madness!

As much as I enjoy watching the History Channel. I can not even bear to watch the commercials promoting TG USA, so I change to another cable channel. Would rather see these bozo’s die a theatrical hollywodd death and burn any copies of their old programs. YA HEAR NOW ME HISTORY CHANNEL??!!!!!

Why do people want to stop TG USA?

Can’t you just not watch it? I really really like it, it different to UK and probably not quite as good but its still Top Gear with great cars and great challenges!

Hey TG USA, the real Stig called, he didn’t say anything but if he could, he would tell you to hang it up and leave it to the guys who are actually humorous, have chemistry, and act like they actually enjoy their show.

Dear Lord! Will not someone please put the miserable US bastardized version of Top Gear out of it’s misery? It’s a waste of air time and degrades the Top Gear
franchise.

While I think having a America version of Top Gear was a great idea somebody seriously dropped the ball when it came to casting. Those three guys that were picked for America’s version of the greatest show on television are Lame. You have a midget that has a ego as big as Texas and the other two just fall flat when it comes to presenting what normally be a very entertaining format. It’s embarrassing that in a country the size of the United States and that does have a large talent pool to draw from picked the 21st century version of Moe,Larry and Curley.I’am more than sure that in this country we can find three individuals that have gasoline running through their veins and the love of motorsports in their DNA or was someone worried that our version would be better than the BBC’s version so they purposily torpedoed our version over here? Rutlegde is an idiot that can’t even drive a ‘stick shift’ in one of the episodes he blamed it on the car just cause he couldn’t drive it.
