So there you have it.
Plenty to discuss this week: as you will have seen, the mighty Zonda R would right now be sitting clear at the top of our Power Lap board if only it had indicators. And tread on the tyres. And even the remotest chance of negotiating speed bumps. But what a car – an all-time great?
Following our latest sensible consumer test, the world of second hand car buying has been changed forever. We look forward to the new Auto Trader classifieds with interest. And thanks to Nick Frost for the vivid honeymoon image.
Thoughts and theories in the handy space below as usual TopGear.commers, and we’ll have our usual behind-the-scenes videos from the episode first thing tomorrow morning once we’ve given our stuttering video server a great big toe punt in the microchips.

What do you think?

Jeremy thinks the zonda-R is the best sounding car. SORRY, I disagree, listen to the sound the BRM v16 MK2 from 1952! Way more noise and also not road legal, gives me the shivers every time I hear it!

poor poor poor poor, The Zonda test was a near as makes no difference lift from Clarksons piss poor DVD..The second hand BMW’s could have been could have been so much more but was rubbish ( same old crap JC breaks his, Hammond buys a pimped out one and James gets the sensible one and nothing really happens)…. as with alot of recent Top Gear episodes this was poorly edited and scripted appears the lads have their fingers in so many other pies they cant be arsed to make a decent Sunday nights entrainment program… I do suspect that the majority of this series segments were left overs from the last series (or even before that) and just stretched out to fill the necessary 40 or so minutes… Think it might be time to put old top gear out to pasture… Rant over

Jeremy, between the Nissan Skyline GTR R35 and the Ascari KZ1R, which one you would prefer? I’d rather the Ascari, but do notify me if you disagree, and take into consideration, the price and horsepower of each. i need the specs.

Why do not you test built cars such as Nissan Skyline models that Zonda R should be the price of many tuned Skyline, which also has a power

Hello everyone
First of all sorry that I write in this topic but I have some technical problem with the use of this forum. When I’m trying to enter in the appropriate topic, I received a 404 error It’s about the only topic in which I was able to enter. Do you have the same problems? What’s going on?

It remains, MrClarkson, that I continue to question your judgement (& that of MrHammond) in this regard. The Zonda, like Lamborginis of late, are simply vulgar in design. No amount of electronically nannied ‘performance’ can make up for this–
I maintain taht Vauxhall VXR, TVR, Ascari, Noble & Lotus continue to lead the way for Real cars, that can only be driven by Real men…

Tainted by young Mr.Hammond’s irrational exuberence, Mr.Clarkson also fails to recognize that the Zonda is a vulgar as most BMWs (M6 comes to mind)– It is Mercedes attempt at an American muscle car… Loud, fast, vulgar & incapable of going around corners properly–
One should bear in mind that a true ‘drivers car’ is not meant for everyone. Only those who actually drive well can extract excellence from them– Lotus, TVR, Marcos, Vintage Ferraris, 911s circa 1973…

Is it true that they say that Richard Hammond is a member of the Fukrwee tribe who are a pigmy tribe in South Africa and when they get lost in the long grass climb on top of a large anthill and while turning in 360o cry out were the Fukrwee were the Fukrwee.

I like the Zonda, and it sounds great. But I think the sound is a bit too loud. Great looking car though! Jeremy, Richard, and James are so lucky! They get to drive the best cars int the world!
