It’s fair to say Jeremy’s not much of a hip-hop fan. So it’s rather a shame he’s not in the office at the moment and we can’t ask him what he thinks of the latest 45 by Lupe Fiasco.
The popular Chicago-based rapper – also owner of the ‘Righteous Kung Fu’ clothing line – has released a jauntily modern number titled Stereo Sun. It doesn’t feature a single guitar, and at 0:59 in the above video gives what is known as a ‘shout-out’ to our Jezza.
This isn’t, of course, the first time the world of Jeremy has been wedded to the world of hip-hop. There’s also this famous Jeremy Clarkson Beatbox, which now has had almost one million views:
But we do think this is the first time Top Gear has been featured on an actual chart-topping platter that matters. Unless you know different, TopGear.commers?

Jeremy Clarkson is a legend!! he has an interesting opinion to share, and fortunatly he posseses the right to free speach as we all do, so to all you haters if you dont like what our jezza has to say you dont have to listen!! stop with your pathetic attempts to sak him and complaints because he is a well known, respected and loved presenter and hopefully he wont be going anywhere !!

I specifically bought the more expensive cable TV package just so I could get BBC and watch this show. Greatest show……..in the world. If I ever make it across the pond I will find a way to make it to a show, or at least get a look at the legendary track.

I think a visualized presentation can be better then only a trouble-free text, if stuff are defined in images one can effortlessly be familiar with these.

Dear TopGear;
As a Canadian i love TopGear UK not the US poor atempt at a car show. Thay don’t get the humer. In saying that ,would you consider doing a chalinge in Canada? Like going from P.E.I. to Prince Rupert B.C.? On a budgit of $5000 pounds? Buy a car/truck/suv fuel food and hotel rooms? in less then a week?
P.S. keep up the great work… ;}

Very cool, though I must admit I share Jeremy’s aversion toward rap. I actually used to quite like it, when it originated in the early 80′s. By the advent of “gangsta rap,” however, the musical form degenerated into generic fantasies about “bling,” “bitches” and gun violence.
Not to say it isn’t a viable and entertaining art form, but it doesn’t quite have the meat to it that it used to. It used to be like spoken poetry, putting words and music to the angst and even fear of urban life. But, ah well. I am probably just showing my age.

I’ve been reading a book this evening, and in it I found the perfect test for the TOP GEAR crew, maybe even the stig
Starting point; Newport Pagnell north up the M1 to Crick, then south to Watford, then back to Newport Pagnell; Distance 125 miles. Your task, if you chose to take it, is to beat the record time of 56 minutes!
What year was this record set?
Who was the driver?
What car was used?
Can you or the STIG do it today?

I’m not sure who will see this or what good it will do, but I wanted to post a comment on here that shows Americans can spell, and can also deliver a short collection of words using something approaching passable grammar.
I’m a huge fan of Top Gear, and its presenters. I think Jeremy, James, and Richard have excellent chemistry together, and the manner in which Top Gear is filmed, from an artistic stand point, is brilliant. The folks behind the scenes assembling the content, and arranging the presentation of the exchanges between Jeremy, James, and Richard on their “adventures” are just as responsible for the magic of the end product as the talent of the presenters themselves.
People who sack Jeremy for being himself and displaying his wit and humor shouldn’t be bothered with. They don’t get it. It’s a show! It’s entertainment, and its great entertainment. I certainly love my country, and I think there are a lot of positive things that can be said about it, however, our descent into mindless reality based TV is something I am not proud of. I’m glad a quality program like Top Gear is available to me in the U.S. I am very thankful for it.
BTW….I own both a murderer’s Camaro, and a F-Series truck. And its because of Top Gear that I have gone to great lengths to turn my Camaro into a car I think even Jeremy would enjoy driving.
All the best Top Gear. Keep up the good work
-Matt

Hi All.
Instead of featuring the F1 drivers in the Reasonably Price Car why not next season, invite the current and previous BTCC champions to ‘have a go’. They have been on in a few ‘comedy’ events and it would be nice to see which series has the better drivers.

Jezza:
Challenge- Ho about Portland Oegon to Salt Lake City Utah ( and Bonneville) off the Interstates (Motorways.) Some great roads and no speed cams! In one day. It can be done – I have done it on my BMW motorcycle. You get mtn twisties, wide open desert and forest roads. Lots of fun. Do it in the summer when it stays daylight until almost 2200 hrs. By the way from one lawyer to another – nice job sticking to your opinions -regardless of what others say. Your interview with Mick Fleetwood was brilliant!
