Hello again. So here we are, approaching the final show in this series of Top Gear. Yes, only six shows this time around for various complicated reasons that I won’t bore you with now but which can be boiled down to the usual ‘quality not quantity’ argument. Also, we’re all very tired.
Nonetheless, the presenters wanted to make this last show a good one which is why they brought their A-game to the Dunsfold office on Wednesday morning. By which I mean James spent several minutes sniffing an iPad, Jeremy delivered an unsolicited lecture on the importance of the castle in chess, and Richard wondered what would happen if you had a Botox injection in your testicles. Business as usual then.
As for the show itself, there’s no need to read any more of my drivel because here are two old men off the television to tell you more about it.
We’re back as usual this Sunday on BBC2 and BBC HD at 8pm. See you after the show when the presenters will be giving you their considered and entirely serious verdict on series 17.

I had a slight heartattack when you said the Aventador is in this episode. Can’t wait to see it!
My only wish for series 18 is a review of the Koenigsegg Agera, which you have completely failed to even mention since it was announced. I’d love to hear Jezza’s thoughts on it, considering that the CCX almost gave him a heartattack
Great job on series 17 thus far, and I know I’ll like the final episode as well.

Guys, you should stop putting everything to these preview videos. I know, you can always skip watching them, but come on, i come to this website every week and being a fan of the show obviously will watch the preview video. Just dont put everything you have into the preview clip, leave something for surprise, honestly.
But it was a good episode. Decent series, had some good moments, some not so good, but still keep up the work cant wait till november or december when you are back again.

I have to agreed the Vietnam episode was hilarious and I hope they do Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan or where else they feel like it. I felt that if they don’t do reviews on shows. They should do A LOT of road trips as TG is, IMO, not only a car review show but its a comedy car show with extreme challenges which are the best parts of the shows. No show like this exist anywhere else on earth!
I do not want TG to end, not now, not for another 20-30 years. Don’t care if Jeremy becomes old and grumpy, nor James or Mark! As long as they continue to make more TG! You guys are the best!!!

Thanks for the great series. Can’t wait for series 18 in December/November time. By the way for those who say the series is too short (which it is), the reason why it’s short, is because Jeremy complained a few years ago about the series being too long. After a lot of complaining, it was finally reduced to 6 episodes a series. sometimes a little more (season 16 was 8 episodes long). I got that from an genuine source. I don’t mind it that much, after all, it takes a while to record 6 episodes, let alone 10. Let Richard and Jeremy spend more time with family. ( and Let James build his legoland)

great show..congrats..i have an idea..although it is pointless to have an episode where u guys have a trip across asia..what i mean is..starting from singapore, passing through malaysian b-road to thailand and ended somewhere in the everest country..make that a challenge..10k budget on any car they can find in s’pore or malaysia..just an idea…
