As seasoned Top Gear watchers will now be aware, the three presenters are currently in India filming our Christmas special. But before he headed off into another seasonal road trip fraught with peril, the industrious Jeremy spent a hot few days hooning at the sunny Paul Ricard circuit near Marseille for your pleasure (and for the health of your Christmas stocking).
His new DVD – Powered Up – will be out to buy on 7 November, so in the meantime he’s made a few exclusive out-take videos just for all of you on TopGear.com. We’ll be putting up one every Monday for the next four weeks to drag you from your start-the-week torpor and here’s the first: featuring the remarkable super-lightweight, 519 bhp/tonne British single-seater, the BAC Mono.
You’ll notice he’s also press-ganged the not-so-tame Formula One newboy Karun Chandhok into the madness…

Loved the vid, Ive got all the UK TG DVD’s available, watch TG UK on Danish TV and still cant get enough. Jeremy, Richard, Capt’n Slow…help…the US can understand enough of the UK and EU references…just broadcast in the states too please! We are making a mess of things with the US version!!!!!!

i watch TopGear on BBC America. Outstanding entertainment. British humor and speech is top notch even though some of the references to the area i am not able to understand. TopGear from the United States is well; how do i say; a waste of viewing time which could be better filled with another venue of TV entertainment. I’ll not be watching it again. The US version is an attempt to capitalize on the popular British version. You can’t copy the British version and expect it to be a hit. British TV is not to be copied. Just appreciated. Like for instance; the comedy ‘Are You Being Served’ and Dr Who. Am looking forward to getting my copy of Jeremy’s DVD. Also luv the Stig. Just what does Sting mean? maybe another British term that can’t be translated. Good Day mate.

After reading most of the other coments above I have to agree Topgear USA is a waste of tv space they should put a test screen picture on . As a Brit now living in Canada I have installed sat tv and pay to have it shown from the uk.
The day the US version stated the british told lie’s stating because the Aston Martin had 200 mph on its clock and they only got it up to 185 mph all brit’s told lie’s That done it for me …..Long live Top Gear UK………

Top Gear America is GOD Awful, but honestly – The Car Show is the best thing coming out of America close to Top Gear UK – Why ~ because Adam Carolla has a personality, like Jeremy. Not better, but WAYYY better than Top Gear USA.
Car Show even compliments/tributes Top Gear UK subtly on the first episode. Streaming on Hulu
