There was much excitement this week down at the Top Gear studio, as on the coldest filming day for quite a while we discovered someone had finally installed some rudimentary heating in our draughty hangar.
OK, that wasn’t the only cause for excitement. The appearance of Ryan Reynolds caused much fluttering of female hearts, while James was utterly overjoyed to finally take his beloved Fiat Panda around the Top Gear track. Plus, we got to make our very own car chase…
But enough words. Here’s a short informational film about the show recorded by Mr Richard Hammond and Mr James May:
See you all as usual on Sunday, 8pm, BBC Two and BBC HD

What do you think?

That warehouse/aircraft hanger/big room they use as a studio is cold enough in JUNE. I did notice that in last weeks show, the entire audience was still fully wrapped up in coats, scarves and woolly hats, and at one point you could see Jeremy’s breath in front of him, and it was just Carbon Dioxides and not Glenfiddich…

Rather excited about this weeks show. A handsome man in the Reasonably Priced Car, Ray Winstone and Plan B on the Film Shoot. But most excited for James’ Fiat Panda Film. (I am only kidding there.)

Unfortunately, in the US, with BBC America, we get the shows LATE. Like I think I just saw one where someone said that it was the best car of 2003…
ummm.
I think it would be a cool show to see in person. Maybe I’ll get back to the UK again and check it all out.

oh I forgot to add that I’ve always had a crush on James…it isn’t just ‘all cars’ for me. I like the silliness. And James.

I wish Top Gear made more episodes. I live in America and we dont get BBC so I spend hours searching for Top Gear every Sunday night. It really makes me a happier person. Nothing is ever funnier and I would love for Top Gear to happen more. Then again I respect Jeremy, Mister Slowly and the hamster too much to ever take them away from their families for too long!!! OH AND TOP GEAR FOR LIFE!

Top Gear is now boring, standing around directing the Sweeney….where’s the fun, what’s the point. The cast’s ego has got bigger than the show. Shame.

Watching Sunday’s show and it’s India all over again. Hammond is a disgrace to the show; James did well to avoid the farce of the movie direction piece.

Did the producer pay money back for the vandalism for your cars, like for the repaint, or even possibly a new cars? Sorry if I posted this twice (I’m not sure!)
