Alas, it is the end of Series 18, and what a run we’ve had: who could forget our supercar shootout in Italy, a trip to China and Kung Fu Stig, the Ferrari FF vs Bentley on ice, the lightly insane C63 Black series and Saab tribute, and of course, the aeroplane-engined BMW Brutus and Bentley monsters?
Not us. And we’re not going to forget the guests from this series’ Star In A Reasonably Priced Car in a hurry either: will-dot-I-dot-am-dot, Hollywood star Matt LeBlanc, Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds, the generously-packaged Michael Fassbender, Dr Who and cheese fetishist Alex James.
Well Internet, we’ve got a cracker of an episode this week, so we’ll hand over to Jeremy, James and Richard to tell you what’s what.
As always, tune in Sunday night, BBC Two at 8pm, and then check back on TopGear.com for literally some more stuff. Enjoy the show!

Ei ole mõtet kogu aeg lihtsalt rääkida, on nende algus Daito! Me ehitame kultuuri! Mul on kultuur, siis on kultuur! Ja paar tuhat kultuuri! Miks meil on alati nii nii aeglane? http://www.youtube.com/wa tch?v=9rcuMOzvdBQ

I had the good fortune to be in the audience on Wednesday and I have to say (without spoiling anything) that it’s a hell of a way to end a series. I had a genuinely fantastic time, thoroughly enjoyed every part of the show and I really hope everyone loves it as much as I did when it arrives on their telly boxes. This has been an absolutely storming series and this episode was like a big juicy cherry on a lovely cake full of tyre smoke and engine oil (tastier than it sounds… um…). Thanks, guys – looking forward to series 19 already

I genuinely think this could be the best series of them all, so long as you don’t count the India Special, which was obviously turd. The Sweeney thing was a bit of an aberration, but other than that there have been so many awesome bits that I can’t even list them all. I’m off to illegally download the lot of them on Final Gear so I can watch them again.

Oh dear! It’s time to end this stuff. Top Gear used to be about cars and now it’s about three knobs who aren’t really very interesting any more.

Looking forward to this particular episode when it’s shown on BBC America. That California 250 is cool, there is one owned by a local fellow here and occasionally you get to see it at car shows, a real privilege. It’s beautiful, dark maroon with a saddle leather interior.

They should make use of all the good stuff they couldn’t fit into the program and do a sort of extended version online.
It might make up for that fact that a series these days seems to only be half a dozen episodes or so.

Dear TopGear,
I watch your show for, I don’t know, 5-6 years now, and I’ve seen all of your episodes. I am a big fan, but in recent years the show has lost its flare. In the beginning you tested and did a lot of things that nobody has ever done, and they made sense in a particular way. But these days if you reflect the auto world on your show, it will become dull and predictable and for sure scripted. The auto world is slowing and slowing the progress each day of their products. And the show seems to agree with that, since its fallowing all the marketing bull..it that is out there. I have a bachelor in Marketing and all the things that you do are predictable and for sure they are made by some board of directors etc.
My advice is to go on a war with the Auto makers, because you can, because your show has power to say what is out there and this will make you cool. Not profitable for sure, but cool!
All the luck, chaps!
