Alas, it is the end of Series 18, and what a run we’ve had: who could forget our supercar shootout in Italy, a trip to China and Kung Fu Stig, the Ferrari FF vs Bentley on ice, the lightly insane C63 Black series and Saab tribute, and of course, the aeroplane-engined BMW Brutus and Bentley monsters?
Not us. And we’re not going to forget the guests from this series’ Star In A Reasonably Priced Car in a hurry either: will-dot-I-dot-am-dot, Hollywood star Matt LeBlanc, Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds, the generously-packaged Michael Fassbender, Dr Who and cheese fetishist Alex James.
Well Internet, we’ve got a cracker of an episode this week, so we’ll hand over to Jeremy, James and Richard to tell you what’s what.

The quiet time in between series will be quite hard to adjust. Many months until series 19. To keep busy, I hear that the Stig will be doing some campaigning in the states. Something about a house that matches the color of his suit. Can’t imagine why, the pay is horrendously rubbish.
Top Gear should do at least one show at the Geneva Auto Show, the presenters would make it into a competition to get the most phone numbers of the fine birds who model next to the cars.

I’m still patiently awaiting the airing of Season 18 here in the States. I’m not a fan of the US version. The UK version is the only one for me.

Check the video at about 1.50m and compare. Who in their right mind would make that white, even if the rest of them are. There are plenty of photos out there on the galactic interweb too. Maybe the price of appearing on Chris Evans breakfast show (JC) was the loan of THE Ferrari but CE seems like a nice chap and I bet he did lend it…. anyone fancy small wager, for charity of course, … £5?.

Last of the series already. Jeez. Still so many cars you haven’t reviewed yet! The BAC Mono, the GT3 RS 4.0, the New Boxster S, the Caterham Supersport. When you review these cars online, could you at least put the Stig in them and let us know how fast they go around the TG track?

I just have to say that if this episode looks as good as it does than this may be the best Top Gear series in a long time……. It had a Bad start in India but I can’t think of one bad episode this series (maybe the 2nd episode but thats it)

Top Gear UK is the only car show in the world for me. THE ONLY ONE. These three are IMO the greatest comedians in the world. I would really like to see these guys in real life some day.

good series but it needs to be longer and also more car tests need to be done some really good “consumer advice”. Really will missthe show whilst its off air. Also i would love it if you guys had those races between each other and did more cheap car challenges likethe america 1000 dollar challenge that would be a brill episode if it was elsewhere

I went along to the race day at Lydden Hill for the Rally cross featured in this episode, drove through the night to get there and it was worth it. Excellent day, very entertaining, will be great to see it on the box tomorrow night.
