Alas, it is the end of Series 18, and what a run we’ve had: who could forget our supercar shootout in Italy, a trip to China and Kung Fu Stig, the Ferrari FF vs Bentley on ice, the lightly insane C63 Black series and Saab tribute, and of course, the aeroplane-engined BMW Brutus and Bentley monsters?
Not us. And we’re not going to forget the guests from this series’ Star In A Reasonably Priced Car in a hurry either: will-dot-I-dot-am-dot, Hollywood star Matt LeBlanc, Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds, the generously-packaged Michael Fassbender, Dr Who and cheese fetishist Alex James.
Well Internet, we’ve got a cracker of an episode this week, so we’ll hand over to Jeremy, James and Richard to tell you what’s what.
As always, tune in Sunday night, BBC Two at 8pm, and then check back on TopGear.com for literally some more stuff. Enjoy the show!

Wow what a boring season. Thank God for Top gear U.S
God forbid top gear should’ve reviewed the cheaper, better, and more reliable American cars at all this season.

Congrats guys – this has turned out to be one of the most fun, and most well-rounded series yet. There was stuff for hardcore car geeks, and there was some fun stuff for my mom, who loves your show as much as I do. And she’s a 64 year old pensioner in Southern California.

Got a funny feeling that Kimi Rakkinioen
might beat sebestian vettel time tonight.
Slash should be fun, good guest, great guitar player.
The boys are racing, better than sitting in an office
all day long.
jealous at how much fun they have.
Hurry up with series 19. will be missed after tonight espiodes.

I really do miss the true action of top gear! I was such a fan with the program but it seems to be falling to pieces! what happened to road trips and all the proper arguing! the news is 20 secs and the Saab tribute was roughly 10mins! that’s no tribute that’s a mention! I think the problem is running out of things to do! what about being a bus driver or making your own Small Car! I think i speak for all of us and say that we have plenty of ideas! other than the program is something to look forward to!

they done stuff that appeals to them.
racing car around Imola, Monaco and Siverstone.
and not to forget the Sizzling Saugaes Donnington park.
the trip are mainly specials.
They will probaldy do some specials this year.
as well as cheap car challenges.
reading Jeremy body lanauges, he wants to some specials
this year.
TGUK is only half way through it 14 espiodes per year.
if you read the interview with Andy Wilman, you remember
that he has a set amount of espiodes for Petrolheads.
one for Jezza and co to cock about.
and a set amount of Races and Specials.
I still believe in Andy Wilman, and the direction he is
taking TGUK. he has been both Editor and Exective Producer
of the show for ten years.
i feel confident with that experience at the helm.
as he usually get the balance right over the 14 espiodes.
I understand people being annoyed, as they have favourite parts
of top gear. and when they do not see them, they get angry with Andy
Wilman and co.
14 espiode is not much, and you have to appeal to the broad church
that is the Top Gear church.
they physically cannot do more than 14 espiodes per year.
so they have to select when they do a special or race.
as Jezza said, it take a month from filmimg to it being edited.
the crew needed time off with their familys.
so this system works for me.
I beleive that we will get some challenges this summer.
and maybe a special as well.
just be patient, as the 14 espiodes will catered to all
Top Gear fans.

Thanks guys for season 18. Every new show is like a gift. Overall this season, and I haven’t seen the last show, was one of the good ones. I hope you’ll be back. There are many places were you haven’t been. Montréal is amazing during Grand Prix time. It is the only place in North America where F1 truly rules and in the same time, we get some Nascar action during summer also. Quebec is also unique for another reason; we don’t buy the same cars that the Americans and the rest of Canada buy. We were the first place in North America where hot hatch became a big thing. Some of GM cars that are sold here are not available in the USA, 100 miles from where I live. The car rule here and public transportation is considered a mean of tranportation for poor people that can’t afford a car.
I also think that you should do something across Australia and some of the amazing roads in the northern part of British Columbia in Canada. Natives would find pretty interesting the sight of three British guys in European SUVS.
Hope to see you in my neighborhood sometime. (Keep your business deal with Netlix!!!)
By the way, Toronto is boring, very clean, prosperous and modern but boring. Don’t bother.
