Series 18 of Top Gear has certainly featured a stellar set of names, from Hollywood’s A-List (Ryan Reynolds, Michael Fassbender), million-selling music types (Will.I.Am, Alex James), stupendously quick TV stars (Matt Le Blanc) and even regenerating Time Lords who can travel through time (Matt Smith).

So we definitely needed to end the current run in style. Thankfully, we found a Stoke-born, frizzy-haired rock god just in time.

SLASH. His rendition of Jessica as the show closed was, we hope you agree, a fitting end to the series.
