Are you an owner of the internet? Does the internet own a bit of you via social media? If you answered ‘Yes!’ to either of those questions, we want your help.
We’ve just made a new toy that allows you to keep up on all that’s going on this week at Top Gear Live at the Birmingham NEC (there are still limited tickets available here, by the way). What it does is collect all the content tagged #TopGearLive that people have submitted via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and displays it all in one place. Check it out here.
But we want you to upload as much content as you can so we can see Top Gear Live through your eyes. All you have to do is tag your post #TopGearLive and it’ll be beamed around the internet and displayed on giant screens around the NEC.
So if you see Jeremy ordering a pulled-pork sandwich at lunch, James giving the Stig a piggy back or Richard drooling over a Mustang, snap a picture, write a tweet and let everyone know about it. You’ll also be able to see some looney bikers attempt a New World Record by completing the first double loop-the-loop on a motorbike live via the #Deadly720 hashtag.
Even if you’re not at the event, because you’re actually in Alabama, behind your keyboard, in your favourite pants; save this link in your bookmarks and you’ll be able to see everything that’s going on.
