Back to school this week for all of the Top Gear crew, and for the first time in the history of the show, we all arrived to see Dunsfold under a blanket of snow.
So, while Homeland’s Damian Lewis was outside having unreasonable amounts of fun in our Reasonably Priced Car, the presenters temporarily retreated to the luxurious splendor of our production office to catch up on all the films coming up in series 19, whether Cumberland sausage is really the right choice for lunch, and to wish James a very happy 50th birthday.
Click below for the first of our behind-the-scenes films from the series:
We’ll see you all Sunday 27 January, BBC Two and BBC HD at 8pm. And we’ll have much more behind-the-scenes action on TopGear.com in the coming weeks – stay tuned…

Fantastic season, alas these 7 episodes have flown by so quickly! I do wish you would extend your seasons to include more (perhaps 10 to 12) episodes. Thank you for a delightful program… television would not be the same without Top Gear!

You remember in the first episode in the spoiler of F1? Why it did not appear in the show?

Series 20 had better not be too far away, and as it’s now 5 years and 135 days until I can legally go and see the show live, you’d better keep it coming!!

Lads,
I have a suggestion for series 20, but don’t know where to send it, so have tagged it on here. I would really like to see you build a Harley Davidson Tuk Tuk and maybe take it out to Phuket.
Could be fun,
Regards,
Solomon Glubfoot
