Video: coming up on Sunday’s Top Gear…

Preview picThere was an end-of-term feeling down at the Top Gear track this week, as we finished our last filming day at the studio for series nineteen before we head to Africa for our two-part special.

And is traditional at the end of term, the presenters decided to play games all morning – in this case, a newly-invented session of ‘car tennis’ out on the Top Gear track. Which left only assistant producer Nick Dalton free to bring you the highlights of this week’s show.

Click the big arrow below for more details on Jeremy and Richard’s innovative solution to OAP transport (featuring a very special cameo), James’ exhaustive test of the new Range Rover, and a sneak preview from our guest James McAvoy (the fourth member of the Band of Brothers cast to attack our track in the C-Apostrophe-D).

See you Sunday as usual, 8pm, BBC Two and BBC HD.

What do you think?

the Africa special should have been on at Christmas, making this series just 5 episodes. that’s not good at all.

As an lap I object very strongly to the stereotypical image portrayed on top gear this evening .Not all of us are technophobic, some of us can even use computers ,and I Phones.
Patronising does not even begin to describe this programme .

This program is highly entertaining and does not stereotype anybody . Most of it is pure fun and entertainment to be enjoyed. I think if you don,t like the content turn your gas powered telly over to that strange channel that begins with it. If you don,t like the content don,t watch it, so leave these guys alone they do a great job.
KEEP IT UP BOYS.

What was the music led by guitar that was playing during James May video about the Range Rover, who composed it.

i think the special should have been all one instead of having it in 2 parts. It spoils it slightly. but cant wait until it goes on dvd.
