Greeting readers. It’s about midnight, and I’ve just got in from the edit. Tonight I’ve been working on the track film for show 1, which this time is helmed by James in a couple of massively overpowered limos – thought it’d be a change from the low slung two-door stuff.

At the launch of this year’s Top Gear Live, producer Rowland French introduced a big competition in which you could win free tickets to the live show by sending in your best challenges for the Top Gear presenters.

The Mole can hardly believe it, but the Top Gear world tour has come to an end. What started in London finished after a textbook performance in Hong Kong on Sunday, with 67 shows successfully completed in front of nearly 250,000 people.
